That's Quite the "Task"

Today's devotional in my Mom's book was about breaking down the huge tasks into smaller bits.  Zach's "task" was making enough money to buys books at the book fair.  Ted's "task" was that large path for our garbage container to be able to go on the side of the garage... through 15 inches of snow!  Zach did a great job on the getting it started and then Ted finished it up.

Both Ted and I were very proud of how well Zach worked today.  Granted, he really wanted to earn that  money to spend at the book fair for school, but still it was good that he got out there and actually did it.  It was even more impressive to note that his buddy Cal and Will were inside playing the Wii during that whole hour he worked.  When he first wanted to make enough money to buy the books he wanted, he thought the "task" was WAY WAY WAY too big and fell apart.  But once he broke it down and did a little bit the night before, and then some in the morning and then a large chunk in the afternoon when Ted got home, things went "surprisingly well".  :)
