Today's devotional had us think about how there is much of us we try to hide from God. Things we keep secret from others and fool ourselves into thinking we are keeping it secret from God too.
I was thinking about that hat, and clothing in general; how even back with Adam and Eve they wanted to cover up their sin and hide themselves from God. It is interesting that while we don't use hats and clothing for hiding so much anymore, but that is how it got its start way back then.
From 6 to 39, there is always something that God wants to help us bring to light; not to be mean, but to help us be free from what keeps us occupied in hiding.
