Today we were encouraged to look for hints of Heaven in our present day life. This is what I thought of....that Heaven is the fact that God set things up such that tons of flowers just pop up and grow on their own and I didn't have to plant them! For sure in the New Heaven and the New Earth we will have lots of those kinds of flowers. I'm guessing it will be close to the Garden of Eden..... and won't that be cool to see first hand what God -The Original Master Gardener- does for gardening when he doesn't have sin/death/thorns/weeds involved!
This sweet little flower is in our side yard right by the dead stump. My neighbor, Ms Lori, usually puts a barrel of flowers on the stump every summer. This little one jumped ship and was able to pop up this Spring. That's Heaven right there..... one lone beautiful pansy growing out of a dead stump. God is seriously in the business of re-birth.
